Hunter Marketing Celebrates National Success with Multiple W3 Awards for 2024

We are thrilled to announce that Hunter Marketing has once again made its mark on the national stage, taking home multiple W3 Awards in 2024! Competing among some of the nation’s most renowned brands, including Netflix, ESPN, and The Walt Disney Studios, Hunter has proven that a Columbus-based agency can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the best in the industry. In fact, we are proud to be the only agency in Columbus to pick up a W3 Award this year, showcasing our ability to compete with the largest firms and brands across the country.



Our Gold W3 Award in the Public Service and Activism category for video series celebrates the “Behind the Scenes with the Department of Public Service” (BTS with DPS) campaign. This series shines a spotlight on the dedicated individuals who maintain Columbus’s roads and alleyways, bringing well-deserved recognition to their invaluable work. We’re honored that this project, focused on highlighting community efforts, has received such positive acclaim.


In the Cause-Related category, our “Trash Talk with Phil Meeyup” campaign won a Silver W3 Award for Keep Columbus Beautiful. The animated series, aimed at educating the public on recycling and waste reduction, reached nearly one million Columbus residents! The creative, playful style of “Phil Meeyup” brought a new level of engagement to community improvement messaging, and we’re incredibly proud of the campaign’s impact.

Another Silver W3 Award, in the Public Service and Activism category, went to our social campaign with Columbus City Council, focused on pay equity awareness through the Salary History Ban initiative. Through compelling visuals, animated videos and a strong social media presence, this campaign helped to communicate important statistics and information about combating discriminatory hiring practices, driving meaningful change in our community.


Finally, we’re celebrating another Silver W3 Award, in the Social Video category, for our work with the Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA). This trendy, rain-drenched social reel — complete with a clever “bussin” pun — showcases COTA’s vehicles against iconic downtown Columbus scenes, proving that our expert video team can create stunning, dynamic content in any weather.


Founded in 2019 by CEO Elspeth “Elle” Paige-Sack, Hunter Marketing is a full-service creative powerhouse and certified Women’s Business Enterprise. In just five short years, our team has grown to over 35 passionate Hunters, establishing Hunter Marketing as a leader in public service marketing. With nine W3 Awards to date, we’re grateful for our clients, partners and the community that has helped us reach these incredible heights.
