Media Planner

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop strategic recommendations for connecting a brand to their audience(s) and negotiating buying efforts across multiple channels

  • Pursue innovative solutions for solving client needs

  • Possess a deep and extensive knowledge of digital communications

  • Provide thought leadership and education to both clients and internal audiences

  • Utilize research tools to provide consumer and competitive insight and recommendations

  • Ensure fiscal accuracy of all media buys

  • Actively follow and apply learnings from the digital and social marketing industry, digital marketing best practices and associated behaviors both to consumers and B2B customers

  • Accurately produce, optimize, and maintain multi-channel programs

  • Provide key insights based on campaign data

  • Identify anomalies, meaningful data events and trends for further analysis

  • Support multiple media clients

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, advertising platforms and media influencers

A BIT ABOUT YOU

Our Media Planner needs several important skills and qualifications to succeed in their job. We expect to see a good mix of soft and hard skills in candidates. The main Media Planner skills to look for are:
 

  • BS/BA Business Management, Marketing, Communications, or related fields

  • 5+ years of relevant media experience, including audience understanding and research

  • Google Analytics certified

  • Experience buying traditional media nationally in multiple markets preferred.

  • Strong multi-channel understanding, and experience are critical – including digital and social

  • Demonstrated drive and passion for uncovering and identifying connection points – no matter the medium

  • Uses a creative approach to solving marketing challenges

  • Ability to consistently meet tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong organization and communication skills

  • Experience with negotiating and buying traditional and new media

  • Excellent proofreading skills and attention to detail

  • Desire to understand and provide insights from campaign data

  • Strong skills and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Nielsen, comScore, MRI, Scarborough, and Kantar as well as Google Campaign Manager and MOAT

Content Strategist

Content Strategist

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deep understanding of brand guidelines and styles when writing digital content 

  • Ability to create content strategies and tone of voice for new clients

  • Develop creative that is tailored to different audiences and different platforms 

  • Master at flexing between brands and being able to turn the customer the voice on and off

  • Strong presentation skills for client pitches and internal stakeholder meetings 

  • Strong research skills to become an expert on topics that may be new to you

  • Collaborate closely with account managers and project managers to ensure work is completed on time with world-class quality

  • Proof and edit copy before client delivery

  • Comfortable contributing to multiple projects at once with moving deadlines

  • Loves crafting all types of copy from long-form, teasers, creative copy, and administrative copy, such as Request for Proposals (RFP) responses

A BIT ABOUT YOU

  • 3+ years of relevant experience

  • Ability to write clear, concise, and convincing copy – you possess excellent grammar and proofreading skills and are detail driven 

  • Up-to-date knowledge of best practices and specs on social platforms, especially Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok

  • Strong editorial and creative writing skills

  • Knowledge of digital PR, social marketing and crisis consultancy, with a deep understanding of how to create engaging experiences and articulate them through a multitude of social, digital, and mobile channels

  • Experience with CRMs 

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
